DETOX SMOOTHIE BOWL
So, we’re back home again! Our trip to Europe was such an incredible experience! BUT it’s not the easiest thing to keep a healthy diet when you’re on vacation – anyone else? SO, with getting back into a routine and unpacking today, my body was in need of a little bit of a detox! This smoothie bowl was the perfect thing to get me back on track Below is the simple recipe and some of the benefits!
D e t o x S m o o t h i e B o w l
INGREDIENTS:
2 Frozen Bananas
1/2 Peeled Orange
1/2 Cup Frozen Papaya
1/2 Cup Frozen Pineapple
1 tsp Maca Powder
1 tsp Hemp Powder
1/2 tsp Bee Pollen
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
DIRECTIONS:
Add all the ingredients to your blender in the order listed and blend until smooth. Add to your favorite serving bowl and top with the other half of the peeled orange, some papaya and bee pollen!

Orange Juice and Oranges: Both of these contain high levels of Vitamin C which help boost the immune system.
Bananas: These are full of Potassium and Calcium. They also lower chances of having heart disease or strokes.
Maca Powder: This is an incredible additive to a smoothie or smoothie bowl! It boosts energy and increases strength and endurance. Perfect for a pre workout meal!
Hemp Powder: This is perfect to add some extra protein, and contains tons of essential amino acids to aid in muscle growth and strengthening.
Bee Pollen: This ingredient is SO good for your immune system! It is stimulating and strengthening to help you fight off any bugs or viruses which brings me to the next benefit- antibacterial. It can also help reduce inflammation, always a good thing!
