THREE WAYS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE

I definitely have a love hate relationship with Apple Cider Vinegar. There are SO many health benefits, but the taste is awful, amiright?!

Lucky for our taste buds and throat, there are plenty of ways to dilute the crazy strong taste. I’ll share a few of my favorites, but first here’s some of the benefits!

BENEFITS:

I have been taking one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar daily (with a few exceptions because, well, I’m human) for about a year. All of the benefits I am sharing, I have personally experienced!

1.) Clear Skin

ACV helps aline alkalinity in the body. This basically means that it neutralizes our acid levels. When everything is balanced correctly you have healthy PH levels, which results in amazing things like clear skin! YAY! I can absolutely attest to this. I currently work at a little restaurant where I spend hours on the grill. I’m sure you can imagine all the “stuff” that ends up on my face by the end of the day. Of course I wash my face, but that mostly only takes care of the surface. By keeping ACV in my system, it takes care of my skin for the inside out!

 

2.) Gut Health

ACV is great for reducing bloat and helping with digestion. For the last year or so, I have dealt with slight gluten sensitivity. So anytime I consume bread, I end up super bloated and very uncomfortable. ACV is definitely not a cure for this situation, but it helps for sure! Sometimes you just gotta have that pizza, ya feel?

 

3.) Using When Your Sick

ACV is one of Jesse (my husband) and I’s go to’s when we’re dealing with any kind of cold or sickness. You can add it to your hot tea, put in in your bath water or just drink it to help fight off those nasty germs!

 

Now let’s talk about how to deal with that potent taste.

I used to take straight shots of it – definitely would not recommend! My throat was  feeling the effects, so I started mixing it with some different juices and it’s much more tolerable!

Mt favorite way to take it is with pineapple juice. The sweetness is the perfect thing to help reduce the strong sour taste!

A few others I have tried are cranberry juice, orange juice, or warm water. All of which help dilute it, but pineapple juice is the winner for me!
