It’s that time of the year again! Warm + cozy drinks, bundling up in your favorite hat and scarf, spending extra time in all the beautifully Christmas decorated shops… and collecting tons of germs :/
I hear is said over and over again during this time of the year: “Everyone is sick!” and of course neither you or I wants to be one of those people.
That’s why I LOVE this drink. It’s immune boosting to help your body fight off the infections, and hopefully prevent you from even getting sick in the first place!

What you’ll need:
I Mug of Hot Water
1/4 of a Lemon
1 TBSP Honey
1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
How to:
Squeeze the lemon into the hot water, add the honey and apple cider vinegar. Stir + enjoy!
Benefits:
The acidity in the lemon helps to alkaline your body, making it a digestion aid + it is high in vitamin C to help boost your immune system and fight off infections.
The Apple Cider Vinegar is full of probiotics. This means that it’s a friendly bacteria that gets rid of the bad bacteria that may be living in your body.
Honey obviously helps balance out the strong vinegary taste of this drink, but thats not all. It has been used for hundreds of years as a healing agent. It is anti fungal and can soothe inflammation in the body. So if you’re dealing with a sore throat or cough, honey is the perfect solution!
B O N U S: If you’re really serious about staying as healthy as you can this winter, try adding a drop or two or Thieves Essential Oil to your cup. This will give your body the extra boost it needs to fight off infections.
