Where Can You Find These Ingredients and What Are Their Benefits?

Epson Salt:

Where: Any health store, CVS, some grocery stores.

Benefits: Epson salt is known for relaxing muscles and relieving aches and pains. When paired with hot water it takes care of tension and relaxes your body. I also use it for foot soaks as well!

Coconut Oil:

Where: Grocery Stores, Whole Foods, health food stores, online, pretty much anywhere!

Benefits: Ahhh! the benefits that come from coconut oil are almost too many to count! I honestly use it for everything! Hair masks, cooking, oil pulling, etc. The purpose for it in this recipe is to moisturize your skin while you are bathing. It literally leaves my skin SO soft and smooth.

Lavender (Dried and Essential Oil):

Where: I got the dried lavender on Amazon. It came from an organic lavender farm in France and it is actually edible! The essential oil i got through my mom who is a consultant with Young Living Essential Oils. I have also found it in several health food stores and it can be found online.

Benefits: Lavender is probably my favorite smell. Ever. It is incredibly relaxing and it helps to de stress. The aroma from it in the bath salt will make you want to sleep pretty much right away!

Beet Root Powder:

Where: I got mine from my local health food store. It comes in vegetarian capsules so I just open about 5 of them a measure out a tablespoon. You can also find it on Amazon. Because Amazon has everything.

Benefits: Beet root is known for many uses in skin care. It nourishes the skin and leaves it soft, bright and glowing. Its also the cause of the pretty light pink color of the bath salt!

Tea Tree Essential Oil:

Where: Same as the lavender oil, I get it through my mom from Young Living Essential oil. It can also be found online or at any health store that sells essential oils.

Benefits: Tea tree oil is healing for the skin. It helps clean the skin and take care of bacteria and germs (yes please!)

Rose Petals:

Where: I bought a bunch of them from my mennonite neighbor for $1 (!!!) #winning

Benefits: They look so pretty throughout the mixture and its also a little extra relaxing to have some fresh ones floating around in your bath:)
