Cilantro Lime Turkey Burgers
This meal is by far a top client favorite meal at Casa Meal Prep! It’s perfect for prepping ahead as a healthy lunch for the week, or for a flavorful weeknight dinner.
What You’ll Need
1 lb ground turkey (93%)
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 - 1/2 cup fresh, chopped cilantro
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
avocado or olive oil for cooking
For Serving (all optional): fresh lime wedges, more cilantro, roasted sweet potatoes, lettuce cups, Cilantro Avocado Crema
How To:
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until everything is combined
Form the mixture into patties using a large cookie scoop - one batch should make around 9 turkey burgers depending on the size of your scoop!
Spray a pan with avocado or olive oil and turn the stovetop to medium heat
When the pan is hot, add the turkey burgers and cook on each side for 4-5 minutes. Check the temp with a meat thermometer, making sure they are at least 165ºF internally.
Serve with roasted sweet potatoes, more fresh cilantro, fresh lime wedges and a dollop of Cilantro Avocado Crema
